The Quest
Jonas started his quest to find true health in 2010 and eventually landed in the raw vegan, salt free, oil free world in 2012. As a lover of intense flavours he was always looking for ways to make delicious, indulgent, satisfying foods out of whole, high quality, fresh ingredients.
The Crackers
He discovered the recipe for the raw crackers, Manna's flagship product, when he was experimenting with the dehydrator back in 2018. He knew they were special but he wanted to wait until he had the right team before blessing the public with them. In 2023 Jonas received a clear message from God that He was in it with him and so Manna was born.
Partners in Life & Food
Lydia and Jonas began sharing a house in early 2024 and immediately Lydia, with a background of working in conventional cookery, wanted to join in. They soon realised that not only were they to be business partners but also life partners and got married the summer of that year.
A Growing Family
Since then not only have they expanded the Manna menu but also their family with a beautiful son. It's hard work but they love the challenges of running a food business with an insistence on using the highest quality ingredients and producing gourmet experiences.
